Getting started with TypingSathi takes three simple steps. Choose the one you need:

Good to know before you start
- TypingSathi works on Windows PCs and laptops only (Windows 7 SP1 and above). It cannot be used on mobile phones or tablets.
- After installation, it works offline.
- A free learning module and limited practice time are available before you buy.
- Each license key works on one device only. It is linked to that device’s unique Machine ID.
1. How to Download TypingSathi Software
- Open the TypingSathi website on your computer. Use Google Chrome for the best experience.
- Go to the Downloads section.
- Click the right button for your Windows version:
- Download for Windows 8 and above (for Windows 8, 10 and 11)
- Download for Windows 7 (SP1)
- Wait for the download to finish, then open the downloaded file.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
- Open TypingSathi from your desktop or Start menu.
Downloading from a browser other than Chrome?
Browsers such as Edge, Firefox or Opera may show a message saying “this file is not safe” or “this file may harm your device”. This is a standard warning that browsers show for software files they don’t recognise, and it is normal. To continue the download:
- Click the three dots next to the downloaded file.
- Choose Keep, then Keep anyway or Download anyway.
The wording can differ slightly between browsers, but the steps are the same.
Download problems? Check your internet connection and try in Chrome. If it still fails, message us on WhatsApp at +91 76909 90908.
2. How to Purchase a License Key
You can get your license key in two ways.
Important: A license key is bound to a unique Machine ID. Every device has its own Machine ID, so a license key can be used on a single device only. It cannot be reused or moved to another device. Please choose the computer you will practice on before you buy or activate.
Option A: Buy on the website
- Go to the Pricing section and choose a plan:

- Click Buy Now for your plan.
- On the checkout page, enter your actual details: your full name, phone number and email address. Please use correct information, because we use it to verify your purchase and support you in the future.
- Pay using UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, BHIM, Paytm and more).
- Once the payment is done, your license key is shown on the website.
No Machine ID is needed when you buy on the website.
Option B: Get your license key on WhatsApp
Message us on WhatsApp at +91 76909 90908. Please send us these details so we can support you now and in the future:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your Gmail / email address
- The plan you want
- Your Machine ID (see below)
How to find your Machine ID
- Open the TypingSathi software.
- Look at the profile section in the top right corner. You can also find it at the bottom left corner, just above the version number.
- Take a picture or screenshot of it and send it to us on WhatsApp.
Buying for an institute or coaching center? Ask us about bulk licenses with special discounts.
Paid but did not get your key? Message us on WhatsApp with your payment screenshot and the name, phone number and email you used, and we will help right away.

3. How to Activate TypingSathi with Your License Key
- Open TypingSathi on your computer.
- Click the Activate Now button.
- Enter your license key exactly as you received it.
- Confirm. You can start practicing immediately.
Tip: Copy and paste the key instead of typing it, so there are no mistakes.

License key not working?
- Check that you copied the full key, with no extra spaces.
- Make sure you installed the correct version for your Windows.
- If it still fails, contact us with a screenshot of the message you see.
- Remember that a license key works on one device only. It cannot be used on a different computer.
Other issues: Make sure you are using the latest version of TypingSathi, restart your computer and try again.
