About TypingSathi
TypingSathi is a typing practice platform built for Indian government exam candidates. It started in 2023 with one goal: to give every student a realistic, accurate and easy way to practise typing for the exams they are preparing for. Since then, over 1 lakh downloads from across India show that students trust it for their typing preparation.
Why we built it
Our founding team was made up of people who had prepared for government exams themselves. We saw that many typing tools did not match the real exam screen or calculate results the way the official exam does. So a team of five developers set out to build a typing resource that students from every part of India could rely on.
What you get on TypingSathi
- Real exam interface: practise on a screen that closely matches the actual typing test.
- Real Exam Mode: settings such as keystrokes or words, time limit, backspace and highlight are already set for each exam.
- Official evaluation formulas: errors, speed and marks are calculated using the formulas followed in the official exams.
- Free typing lessons: finger-by-finger lessons and typing technique, prepared by typing specialists, completely free.
- Guide to Type: a step-by-step path for beginners who are learning typing from scratch.
- Practice Mistyped Words: TypingSathi collects the words you typed wrong and lets you practise them separately, with repetition and reverse-word options, so your accuracy improves faster.
- Paper to Screen mode: along with the usual Screen to Screen mode, you can download a PDF of our typing content, print it and type while looking at the paper.
